When your AC quits on a July afternoon in Riverside, the person who shows up matters as much as the tools they carry. Our local crew is built around one thing: showing respect for your home before, during, and after the repair. Every technician and installer who wears the Meadowsweet uniform lives by the same C.A.R.E. values code. That means we clean up like it’s our own house, ask before moving anything, respect family time and quiet hours, and explain every dollar before the work starts. Luis Serrano, Owner, leads the team personally.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Service Technician
Marcus has spent fourteen years working on residential HVAC systems across the Inland Empire, and he’s seen everything a Riverside summer can throw at a condenser. He holds EPA Section 608 certification and specializes in chasing down the kind of intermittent electrical gremlins that make a system work fine at noon and fail by four. Marcus is the guy who shows up with a notepad, walks the whole system, and hands you a written price before touching a single screw. He’s also the resident filter detective. Ask him what happens when a filter goes eighteen months without a change and he’ll give you a two-minute answer that ends with him shaking his head.
Daniel R. – Senior Installer
Daniel leads our installation crew and has been putting in residential systems for eleven years. He’s certified across all nine brands we service, including Carrier, Trane, Goodman, and Lennox. Daniel has handled everything from attic replacements in Wood Streets bungalows to full ductwork rework in Mission Grove two-story homes. His specialty is making an install look like it was always part of the house. Daniel is meticulous about sealing and airflow, and he trains every apprentice on the proper way to run a lineset so it doesn’t look like spaghetti. When he’s not on a roof, he’s coaching his daughter’s soccer team in the Canyon Crest league.
Elena V. – Service Coordinator
Elena is the calm voice on the other end of the phone, whether you call at nine in the morning or two at night. She’s been coordinating service calls for seven years and knows the Riverside service map by heart, including how long it realistically takes to get from La Sierra to Orangecrest on a Friday afternoon. Elena’s job is to make sure you know exactly who’s coming, when they’ll arrive, and what to expect before they knock. She’s the reason a live person answers every call we get, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with no voicemail queue. When a family calls about a broken AC with a sleeping baby in the house, Elena flags the job so the technician knows to work quietly.
Jamal P. – Apprentice Technician
Jamal joined the Meadowsweet team two years ago and is working through his training under Marcus and Daniel. He grew up in Riverside and went to Poly High before starting in the trades. Jamal handles a lot of the detail work now: checking static pressure, cleaning coils, testing capacitors, and running the diagnostic checklists that catch small problems before they become big ones. He’s the one laying down drop cloths, slipping on shoe covers, and taking the photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves your home. Jamal is quiet, careful, and already building a reputation for leaving a workspace cleaner than he found it.
One Standard, Every Job
Every person on the Riverside crew answers to the same set of expectations that come with being part of the Cedarwell family of HVAC companies. The 365-Day Done Right Promise is not a slogan we hang on the wall. It means if something isn’t done right, we make it right, no runarounds and no fine print. It means floors get protected before work starts and pets don’t get scared by a crew stomping through the living room. It means sleeping kids stay asleep because tools go quiet during nap hours. It means you get a photo of the clean-up before we leave. And it means a written price before any work starts, every single time. That system applies whether Marcus is replacing a capacitor in a La Sierra rental or Daniel is installing a full system in a new Canyon Crest build. The names on the truck change. The standard doesn’t.
If you’re in Riverside and you need honest AC repair, a furnace diagnosis, or a new system installed, call (707) 340-6380. You’ll talk to Elena or another live person, not a phone tree. We’ll tell you what we can do, when we can do it, and what it will cost before anyone shows up.
