Most Riverside homeowners never see what’s actually happening inside their AC cabinet or furnace closet until something stops working. We take photos on every job, not for a scrapbook, but because you should see the condition of the equipment you’re paying to fix or replace. A corroded coil, a collapsed duct, a filter that’s been ignored since the Obama administration, we document all of it. Then we show you what we left behind: clean lines, tested connections, and a work area your kids could crawl across without finding a single screw. Here’s what real transformations look like in Riverside homes.

AC Repair: Sweating Through a La Sierra Summer
Before
AfterA family in La Sierra called us in July when their upstairs bedrooms hit 86 degrees by noon. The problem was a dual-run capacitor that had swollen to the size of a soda can and a condenser coil caked in cottonwood fuzz from the Santa Ana winds. We replaced the capacitor, washed the coil with a non-acidic cleaner safe for their landscaping, and had the system blowing 62-degree air within two hours. Their kids slept in their own beds that night instead of camping in the living room.
Furnace Repair: A Wood Streets Home With No Heat in December
Before
AfterThe Wood Streets are full of beautiful older homes, and a lot of them have furnaces pushing twenty years. This one had a flame sensor so coated in carbon that the burners would light for three seconds and shut off, over and over. We pulled the sensor, cleaned it, verified the gas pressure, and confirmed the heat exchanger was sound before we left. The homeowner had already been quoted a full replacement by another company. A $189 repair fixed it. That’s why we show the photos before we write the invoice.
AC Installation: Replacing a 22-Year-Old Unit in Canyon Crest
Before
AfterA Canyon Crest homeowner was nursing along a 22-year-old R-22 system that needed a refrigerant recharge every single summer. At some point, pouring money into a unit that leaks by design stops making sense. We removed the old condenser and air handler, installed a new 16 SEER Goodman system with a matched evaporator coil, and replaced the rusted disconnect box. The new unit is quieter, the power bill dropped about 30 percent in the first month, and the written price we quoted before starting matched the final invoice to the penny.
Furnace & Duct Cleanup: Pet Hair and Twenty Years of Dust in Orangecrest

Orangecrest homes with two golden retrievers and a cat, you know who you are. We opened the blower compartment on this furnace and found the wheel so packed with hair and dust that it was spinning off-balance and vibrating through the whole hallway. We pulled the blower assembly, deep-cleaned the wheel, replaced the filter with a MERV 11, and sealed the return plenum where it had been sucking air from the garage. Drop cloths went down before we started. The photo of the clean-up was sent to the homeowner before the crew pulled out of the driveway.
AC Repair: Compressor Short-Cycling in Mission Grove

Short-cycling is one of those problems that sounds like a minor annoyance, a unit clicking on and off every few minutes, but it’s tearing through electricity and wearing out the compressor. In Mission Grove, the culprit was a pitted contactor and a low-pressure switch tripping because the system was a pound low on refrigerant. We replaced the contactor, pressure-tested the lines with nitrogen, repaired a small leak at the Schrader valve, and recharged to manufacturer spec. The unit now runs in clean, steady cycles, the way it should.
AC Installation: Quieting a Noisy Side-Yard System in Victoria

The Victoria neighborhood has some tightly spaced side yards, and a builder-grade condenser from 2005 sounds like a jet engine spooling up when you’re trying to enjoy dinner on the patio. We replaced the unit with a Carrier Infinity with a sound rating of 56 decibels, about the level of a quiet conversation. We also added vibration isolators to the pad and rerouted the lineset so it no longer rubbed against the stucco. The homeowner’s first text after the install? “Is it even on?”
